Found another thing on the bezel near the edge with burr. On the bezel between 22 - 24 - 2, one of the dots isn’t black at all, the other one seems to have a white spot on it.

Are the dots in dents? Looks like they are but not sure how you could get one out that cleanly. Definitely not good...

I think I would rather spend 100GBP more and get the brand new watch in comparison to what I received. No hard feelings tho. There was always this chance that it will arrive like this.

It's sad because the product quality seems to be really good. The crown feels smoother than my Tissot Gentleman I think.

Someone mentioned that when people return watches CW grade them and depending on the watch condition they refund X amount of money. If that was the case, with 2 major sales per year I really think that maybe they should put the grade system in place so people know what they are buying.

I though the NN watches were also trade/display samples from shows and so on, so heavily tried on, but possibly not excessively worn. I suppose if they get worn by bloggers and vloggers they will show more wear.

One of a total of two watches from the July sale arrived today. I'm still unsure if I can make friends with the Abyss SH21. I will need some time to think it over and if necessary it will go back to CW....

Great looking watch! I almost jumped on one of those and kinda wish I had. They look far more legible in the flesh than on CW’s website. I still long for the day when CW just puts the SH21 movement in a Trident case with a “plain” dial and hand set, like a few years back. I hope it’s a keeper for you.

I also have an Abyss incoming, but it’s the V2 GMT version along with a C60 42mm Blue GMT, C60 40mm black GMT and a blue Elite 1000 prototype. Hopefully, it’s an exciting week…or a stressful one. Depends on DHL, which is hit or miss here in the States.

One of those V2's is sitting on a DHL truck as we speak running around the Metro right now trying to find it's way to me.

It was actually an accident I bought it. I refreshed my PP screen to see what the GBP v's USA rate was when VAT removed and I hit complete. I had planned on canceling it, but my C60 Trident showed up the next day and swayed my decision to keep it. Should be a couple of Tide straps in the same shipment as well.
