The black canvas strap with bronze buckle I ordered from the sale showed up today. I am very impressed with the quality and looks of this strap. Well done CW! Works nicely with my 300 Bronze.

Has the sale ended? Can’t see the sale under watches anymore but still have one in my basket I was thinking about.

^^^ It would appear so.

With sale watches, it’s probably best to buy immediately rather than leave it in the basket while you think about it. The 60:60 gives you a free return if your (unworn) watch turns out not to be suitable.

Have you tried to complete the purchase on the one in your basket?

Haven’t tried it yet. I wasn’t sure which strap to get. The bracelet version is in my basket but settled on the leather strap and wanted to add a contrasting rubber strap for that price difference. Now I’d be spending premium for a bracelet I wouldn’t be fully happy with. Silly me putting that one in the basket to begin with 😅

Edit: had the website open since yesterday on my laptop and managed to buy the green Aquitaine with leather strap as it was still available. Well see . I’d prefer to get leather and another rubber/nato strap instead of paying premium for a bracelet I didn’t really want. It looks nice but from experience the get busted up really fast working at a desk.

All joking apart though unless your desk has dexion steel reinforcing around the top you've gotta be really unlucky to create permanent damage to solid stainless steel or titanium: can't you bring the finish back with the usual suspects - cape cod, scotchbrite and the like? Youtube is a mine of handy hints.

As to the CW Sale and items in your basket all the previous advice is correct and boils down to "if you snooze you lose". I once lost a watch which had been in my basket for 2 hours: lesson learnt!

My January sale watch purchase was waiting in my mailbox upon my arrival home in 11* weather yesterday. As I post this today, the mercury sits at -4*! Anyway, my initial impressions of the Dartmouth C65 Series 1 are very positive. A very comfortable watch to wear due to it being slim & sits on my wrist nicely. I have a had a chance to test the lume which is highly legible! Not a clunky diver but more a water resistant model that presents a dress casual appearance. I feel fortunate to have bought the black dialed version at the discounted sale price!

I managed to grab a bracelet C65 green Aquitaine. Very impressive watch but I am really pleased to have bagged my third C60 Sapphire! I absolutely love these. Purchased the blue one first, the orange dial on eBay and the black dial in the sale.

Thanks Ferg! Your fine “Watch of the Day” posts played a part in convincing me to go for it if one became available on the sale! Glad that I did because I really like the looks of the Dartmouth. Due to the slim size of the case, this is going to be a very comfortable watch to wear.

Any recent purchases that have been processed? It’s my first purchase from CW and got the green Aquitaine January 13th and was confirmed straight away. What’s the time between confirmation and dispatch in general? I understand sale time is more demanding.
