I might not have made my post particularly clear. The fact that it was NN means that there was only one in the sale; in other words they were not trying to sell off a number of watches left over from an unpopular line. Had that been the case, then the comment could have been interpreted as an oxymoron.
Apologies for not making that clear, and absolutely no criticism of NN watches intended.
I didn’t mean to imply anything. I was just thinking about my new NN Abyss and decided I’d comment after reading you mention it.
It’s all good.

. . .because when they got it, they realised it would ONLY fit a C63 Sealander Elite; that they didn't own.
As someone who put the wrong size C9 bracelet in my cart two sales in a row years back I should have thought of this option. Never actually got my hands on one but it would have been useless and gone straight back! Thanks for putting my mind at rest
This was me (or might have been). I got the bracelet to with the C63 Elite but thought it looked better on a hybrid!

Somebody please persuade me I don't need the C60 Abyss GMT on the clearance page. I can't buy *another* CWL this month!
*Edit - typo
There's a few comments about this. I bought one, and I'm thinking it over. It's dark and seductive, different to anything else I have, and I'm just not sure, as sometimes it's pretty hard to read. It didn't have to be the GMT, but I did want a bracelet. It's sitting in the box, but as I hold and turn the box, it just seems to glitter in certain lights.
I'm reviewing the situation. I think I'd better think it out again.

I see! Not tempted to keep the shiny new bracelet as a sweetener if you ever wanted to sell the watch? I guess if you know it's not going anywhere there's no need
I bought one of these last night, while it was not from the Jan sale it is still January and somebody made a sale..... I did OK on the price but some sellers are really demanding significant premiums.
Omega Speedmaster, Bulova Accutron Gemini, Tudor Black Bay Heritage Maroon & Black, C65 Trident Bronze SH21 LE, C65 Trident Black, C65 Trident Diver SH21, C65 Trident Ombre LE, Longines HydroConquest beautiful AF and better than C60 300
I'm probably the last one to receive my parcel from the January sale!) The 18-day wait was very exciting, but it was definitely worth it! This is my first CW watch and I absolutely love it! They are wonderful! I can't take my eyes off them and I'm constantly looking at my wrist. I'm happy!)

Plenty of nearly news just been added back to the site...
Thanks for the prompt - just got a Blue Sealander Auto on tide strap at £416.50, which was what I looked at on the first day of the sale but couldn't get to my credit card in time. It'll be interesting what I make of it as I'm not sure if it looks a bit well er boring in some photos and I had the blue GMT in mind for a showroom visit. It's a great price though and it's bought with the safety net of a return of watch and refund if necessary.
Quoting my own post from a few days ago, the blue Sealander Auto on blue/white tide strap arrived early this morning. As you'll read from above I wasn't overly hopeful for it as I felt that in the CW website photos the brushed bezel looked too wide and also made it look a bit drab/boring. Well, how wrong was I ?!
This is a lovely watch.
At 39mm it a good size for me, the polished parts of the case are subtle but lift the look without being brash, the dark shade of blue is what I wanted and the baton markers sparkle. Even the strap matches it better than in the photos. Unless CW announce a major release of a more attractive blue dialled watch in the soon to be sent Loupe magazine I'll be keeping this Sealander and maybe look for a bracelet and/or blue leather strap.

I nearly replied to this earlier based on my experience with the eerily similar looking C65 Classic LE - on paper it's boring but in person it looks lovely, great to hear the new one is the same
