I've received the order confirmation email..hopefully I was first on it.

I've gone for the same, there was more than one there at one point so hopefully we both got lucky. I'd decided to be disciplined, it was the only watch I would by if it came up at NN so I bought it without hesitation. Then I realised, with the help of somebody on Facebook pointing it out, that it was showing its RRP at £1,695 when it's current RRP is £1,270. So the NN price really should be £635 but it was up at £889. Email sent to CW for clarification!
Hopefully we will both get them, this was going to be my next purchase when the next promo code goes live so it was too good to pass on.
I have also queried the RRP, they were £1695 before the summer sale, the price then dropped to £1270 and has been that price ever since.
To be honest I'm happy with £889, but it's got to be worth an ask....

£889 is 70% of £1270, so that sounds the normal NN reduction to me.

I presume you are referring to the C60 Abyss GMT V1 vs V2. I've been looking at that myself, as I wasn't sure.

Reading the descriptions and technical details the V1 has an SW330(-1) movement, whereas the V2 has the newer, introduced last year I believe, SW330-2 movement, which is reputed to be much smoother, particularly in the operation of the GMT hand, and has a 56 hours Power Reserve, as opposed to the SW330's 42 hours.

There is though an anomaly, in that, on the V2 version descriptions, the PR is stated as 42 hours; when it should be 56 hours if it truly has the SW330-2.

Make sense?

That is a very good point! I was thinking that NN is 50% but you are absolutely right it is 30% so that sum is correct! Just odd that it was showing the old RRP. That's what threw me..honest.

What a plonker  Thanks for pointing out my idiocy! I was so giddy with excitement my brain was all scrambled. I'm off now to email Vallen to apologise for my stupidity before she points it out to me!

I'm not sure about the abyss watches. They are a bit dark. Just one more watch reviewed the worldtimer very favourably, and that's nice and bright.

Grabbed a c63. Black. Would have preferred white, so be it. Surprised they were on sale. Now to get a bracelet….and I’m prob back to where I could have picked one up on bracelet with sale code anyway. Oh boy.. me and sales.

I was lucky enough to see the sales post on CWE seconds after someone posted it and pulled the trigger on a Tide and an Abyss.

After I’d calmed down a bit, I sent an email to cancel the Abyss as I’m pretty certain it’s the Tide I want.

Just snapped up a c65 GMT. Has been on my list a while and tossing up between that and the regular c65, I almost just pulled the trigger on both 🤣

Now can someone please snap up the NN super compressor before temptation gets the best of me.

With the C65 models, I assumed it referred to the switch to a screw down crown.
