I’ve been a member here for 10+ yrs and the CW tech have always been awful

If that's the best they can come up with as an online watch retailer it's a bit poor!! Surely the picture could just stay there and it could just say 'sold out' over it. At least then people would see the watches that had gone for what price when looking at the sale although maybe they deliberately don't want this?

Seems to be a monumental “cock up” - apologies if anyone takes offence at the terminology but I can’t think of a polite way of putting it. To stop this why not put an email out saying sale details will be posted at a certain time, there is no access prior to and without the appropriate access, no sales will be processed.

Pretty sure the earlier link in this chain was the VIP link some received on email: https://www.christopherward.com/sale-vip-zdfikm25 - still not working now either though and they definitely weren’t all sold when it was taken down.

^^^ @tsc people won't comply. There's always someone trying to jump the gun by using the search facility. I would have thought loading on some sort of staging site and migrating in one go when ready would stop people searching and finding

I’m a site manager for an online business. (Side gig). It’s easy to make things visible or invisible on the site. When you are ready to go live, simply “publish” and voila, it’s there for everyone to see.

All seems so simple to stop it, but hey ho it’s too late now. The suggestion that the “leak” may have been from a VIP email is a bit naughty, and maybe that needs reviewing….

I ordered a couple and they aren't appearing on the site in "my orders" but my card has been charged. So who knows.
