There are generally brand new discontinued models or colorways offered at 40-50% off, and available "Nearly New" stock from returns or review samples at 30% off. Some 'one of a kind' prototypes have been offered in past sales, not sure of their discount level. Hope that helps, and happy new year!

Is there any heads up on when these happen? I'm on West Coast US time, so I'm worried the sale will get ransacked while I'm asleep.

Re: January 2022 Sale
Having checked my emails from CW for January this year, the sale went live around 13:00 GMT Wednesday 6th January 2021, and I recall the Forum Prototype and Summer sales went live around lunchtime too.
That is I have an email timed at 13:05 GMT and two ordered confirmation emails timed around 20 - 30 minutes later.
That'll be 05:00 hrs in Seattle.

Still? If you're having sleepless nights following the Seahawks performance this year you'll be fine.

Thanks for the reply. Hoping to pick up a C60 Sapphire during the salesuicidal_orange wrote: ↑Thu Dec 30, 2021 11:39 amThere might be a couple of "nearly new" returns but obviously as new models which sell well they wont have any stock clearance reductions on the C63.
Welcome![]()
Usually the sale is a combination of clearance of old models (there's probably an Al Deere or two still available) and random "nearly new" watches which are customer returns from the current range that for some reason can't be sold as new, though often the person who buys them can't tell why. Also usually there are some straps and bracelets but again, not all.

Personally, I would say, be logged in, pay with PayPal. If you see one you like checkout instantly. Don't check specs. Just buy it, as if you wait it will be sold to someone else. You snooze you lose.

You struggle I think. Let's say you are 8hrs behind us, Pacific Time, and the sale goes live between 12noon and 2pm.UK. that's 4am to 6am Pacific time. I think that's right, isn't it?

Re: January 2022 Sale
I had no interest or intention of being dragged into last years sale frenzy however, I stupidly had a peek and wound up (
) bagging a NN Dartmouth, much to my surprise. I then realised that my “lack of interest” had caused me to miss out on the lovely yellow C65 LE! I was gutted.
Not to worry though, a kind gent reached out and offered to sell me his.
This year, having sold three watches to buy a Tudor BB58, I’m definitely not looking at the sale. Let me know when it’s done and if I mention missing out, don’t, I repeat, don’t offer to sell me anything.
Thanks.

Re: January 2022 Sale
I have an unhealthy attachment to the Dartmouth in blue.
But...(I think), it's too big at 43mm. (Does it wear 'big? Can anyone advise? P.S. My wrist is 18cm). I think I could get away with it.
But...(I think), it's too busy - (minute markers on the dial AND bezel...not necessary. Plus, I'm not in the military.
But... I love it. A chronometer for c.£1000? A chronometer, and it's blue. C'mon, how can I resist?

Re: January 2022 Sale
Honestly, it sounds like you’d just sell it right away if you’ve already got multiple problems with it! There are other blue chronometers out there at that price point that you might not have issue with.hadon2525 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 31, 2021 2:42 am I have an unhealthy attachment to the Dartmouth in blue.

But if it helps, it’s not 43mm, it’s 41mm. With a 47.1mm lug to lug. I don’t have it, but I do have a C65 with the same case and it wears great on my 16cm wrist.
I’ve heard a saying… buy the watch, not the deal…

Re: January 2022 Sale
From the pictures, I'd love to get a blue Dartmouth in the sale, but I'm not sure if there's any obvious problem with the watch in real life, especially the bezel, power reserve, and canvas straps.

They can guarantee the watch, but they cannot guarantee that you will like it. That is where a little bit of self knowledge comes in. The forum can’t really answer that for you.JonathaN_LI wrote: ↑Fri Dec 31, 2021 8:34 am From the pictures, I'd love to get a blue Dartmouth in the sale, but I'm not sure if there's any obvious problem with the watch in real life, especially the bezel, power reserve, and canvas straps.

That's true, I should follow my heart and keep the enthusiasm.
