My fourth CW bespoke, the Jade Dragon will launch tomorrow at 21:00 UK time.

I will launch it here and to the CW FB group, as well as to those who purchased Phoenix or VULCAN XII.

It's limited to 30 pieces.

Ignore the pic - it's only there for amusement

I will post it in this thread.

No I think you're following CW's trend for sneaky hints in the pre-launch artwork and graphics. I'm expecting a bicompax design with both subdials over at one side of the middle, green dial and something about the case is a bit spiky! hahahaha

@tikkathree interesting observations, I hope the hands won’t be too short……

I’m sure whatever it is the sales will be on fire and they’ll fly out….

Could be an interesting colour - depends on the lead time and whether it will be in time for summer

In time for the Sumner is highly unlikely.

As with most CW Bespoke models, I'd anticipate around 6 - 9 months, ish.

Is 6 the predicted time but 9 the reality?

Thanks, Guy. It was in hope rather than expectation!

There is no hint in there at all, sadly.

Yes indeed, there is no chance for it arriving this summer.

If I am happy with the prototype and sign it off for production, then we should have these by xmas. If I am not happy with the prototype, then expect late Q1 2025.

It’s a niche design, so will definitely not be to most people’s taste. But there’s not many (30) so it doesn’t really matter if it's Marmite

It’s actually based on an abandoned early concept for VULCAN XII (from a year ago!), so that’s a big clue. Unfortunately this also means aspects of it have since been ‘copied’ elsewhere. But Jade Dragon does it better :D

I will edit the top post with full details at 21:00.

Sold out

Post by JasH »

I am absolutely astonished by the response, as Jade Dragon fully sold out in under 2 minutes!!!

Please do not make a request for an allocation now as there are none to allocate.

I will review messages already received across emails, forum, FB and check for the times each is received and will contact those who received an allocation later tonight.

Those who miss out will be placed on a reserve list, in order, in case of future cancellations.

Please note that I am already working on my next bespoke with CW, and I will create it in much greater numbers in order to better fulfil demand.
