Jade Dragon
Re: Jade Dragon
Getting rid of the logo is brilliant, thats what stopped me buying the Carter Hurd one.

Thank youWileyECoyote wrote: ↑Tue May 14, 2024 12:58 amI checked your provided link & the Vulcan XII is a very nice looking watch! I do like the time track on it that doesn’t seem to intrude on the overall design.JasH wrote: ↑Mon May 13, 2024 11:23 pmThat's what the VULCAN XII is for thoughWileyECoyote wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2024 11:08 pm Thanks guys for sharing the link & renders! Personally, I do like to have indices or numbers, but understand why the minimalist design appeals to some. The interesting exhibition case back design caught my eye though!

You will see these on wrists soon, as the VULCAN XII is being delivered later this month.

In checking your provided post for the Jade Dragon, I noticed the Jade Dragon design on the watch box slip cover. Another nice touch & I must say that I am impressed! Wonder if you wish that it had been a larger limited edition run for such a thoughtful, sharp looking design? I have a feeling that 75 or 100 would have sold out quickly as well.

With the benefit of hindsight, given the number of requests I had, I could have set the number at 500 and still ended up with a reserve list.
It's really hard to judge these things and when I started the Jade Dragon project I wasn't sure if it would even be liked. I referred to this often in my update messages. When it was finished I felt it would sell out within an hour. But under 2 minutes was inconceivable.
I am working on my next CW bespoke, and it will be produced in much larger numbers. It's a much more complex watch though.
P.S. the Phoenix also has a custom bespoke box and manual. All my bespokes are like this.

Re: Jade Dragon
Maybe CW would do a bespoke in the same way as Studio Underdog.
Accept orders for several hours or days, and supply everyone who.places an order.

. . . . .which is pretty much the marketing / sales model they have adopted for the C12 The Twelve X (Ti).

Beautiful.
Once again, please no 36mm versions and I'm fine as is.

Yes, but that's their own CW project rather than a bespoke one, but it would but useful if they could accommodate increased demand for a bespoke project in some cases.Bahnstormer_vRS wrote: ↑Tue May 14, 2024 11:44 pm. . . . .which is pretty much the marketing / sales model they have adopted for the C12 The Twelve X (Ti).![]()

Re: Jade Dragon
That might not be desirable from the standpoint of those who commission the watches, who might have an interest in keeping numbers low?

I meant really as something CW might be willing to do with the agreement of the bespoke sponsor, if you will. Not mandatory.Amor Vincit Omnia wrote: ↑Wed May 15, 2024 6:54 pmThat might not be desirable from the standpoint of those who commission the watches, who might have an interest in keeping numbers low?
Re: Jade Dragon
My next bespoke is underway, and will have much greater numbers so I hope far fewer will be disappointed.
I am planning on 99 pieces, as I did with the Phoenix, and it will be a high horology piece.
I started on it in February, and formally with CW this month.
