Although this may be old news for some, I'd like to share this link, a good page with a video showing the assembly of the ETA 7750 Valjoux movement, which powers the C40 Speedhawk:

Fascinating stuff! The C40 is about to replace the C15 on my Which CW Watch To Buy Next list.
(By the way, I am going to London in two weeks. Any tips for nice second-hand watch dealers/shop?)

Fantastic!
I watched the whole thing. Man, I'm exhausted! Great flick. I think I could put one together myself by watching and following the video clip. I've seen this web site before. Thanks for sharing this with us. Look for more stuff like this.

Re: Inside the C40 Speedhawk
Fascinating to watch. Makes you appreciate both the design effort/thought that sits behind putting such a mechanism together as well as the time required to put god knows how many components together in a single movements. Makes £500 for a Speedhawk seem even more v.f.m. when you think of CWL's "tailoring" into a marketable product sits on top of this. Just need a date for delivery now

Excellent! I wish I could do that 50 times slower.

This was really very interesting, great to watch a real craftsman at work, recommending viewing.
