I'm okay with the markings but only wish the bezel was bidirectional on the GMT.
And I hope CW makes the 'upgraded' bracelet soon.

Definitely :)

I'm toying with the idea of getting a burgundy strap for mine for the winter. Just a bit concerned that it might be too dark for the bezel. Rich/Toshi has got a burgundy that looks good and a shell cordovan that looks even better but is also very pricey.

Worn & Wound has got a Horween that they describe as crimson which looks really nice and is a pretty good price. They're sold out at the moment but I've asked to be notified when they get stock.

Oh yes, I absolutely love the Crimson Model 1 W&W - sadly the one I have won't fit the Trident as its 20mm, but its the perfect match for the C9, Sinn or Damasko. Don't know if I should get the same strap again in 22mm. It has aged very well and is super comfy. I do not like the Model 2 W&W straps as much.

You can see it on the C9 here.

Something funky and crazy from Combat straps is also an option.

Oh yes to Combat Straps. I'm still intending to order something from there, just haven't quite decided which watch(es) to treat.

And it's the Model 1 W&W I'm looking at too - the Model 2 doesn't appeal at all.

Edit
Does the W&W fit OK? Your wrist isn't as small as mine, I don't think, but I'm a bit concerned that the strap holes might be badly placed for smaller wrists. I had to send back a lovely Kuki strap a few weeks ago because the holes were so badly placed that I didn't even need to fit it to the watch to see it would be far too big for my wrist.

Model 1 in Rye also looks pretty good, matches the GMT hand and will go with other black dials. I might get that one.

good watch to try various straps (and I didn't buy it on the bracelet).

package came in just now, very fast turnaround time

My initial impressions -
- The red bezel is very nice in real life, a dark red/burgundy - sort of a glossy version of the BB red bezel, pretty good
- Thickness is okay - pretty good, appears thinner than Black Bay for sure
- The crown is different on this one from the previous Tridents, its bigger and has grooves
- The default brown strap is very nice - I'm not a fan of the Bader so the tang buckle fits my needs
- The legibility is okay, would have been better with black outlined hands but its pretty good
- Good size for me, definitely do not want anything bigger

The only problem I have is that the GMT hand does not align perfectly, its very *slightly* ahead of where it should be, what's up with these ETA 2893s? Maybe its normal and just my OCD :?
