Man, I’m over here trying to decide if I want one of these badly enough.

I’m deciding between the blue, white, and grey in stainless and have had some intrusive thoughts like “just order all three and return the one you like least” and “at some point it’s cheaper to fly to London to try them on,” and “why did they bother with a final season of Barry”

^^^ I didn’t know but now I do, thanks. Most certainly an intrusive thought, then. 8)

That looks pretty great! I’m glad you’re happy with it. Surprised you do have it, but it does fit nicely in your collection.

A couple of people expressed surprise, perhaps because I’ve said in the past that I don’t like integrated bracelets and the cases that go with them. However…this is a perfect size, very light and comfortable, and the dial falls nicely into my range of acceptable colours. Apparently we have been threatened with some sunshine this weekend, so I’ll try to get some decent pictures.

A review is in the pipeline but I prefer to live with the watch for a little while.

Two observations: the date tends to hide away a bit, which is perhaps not a bad thing. The seconds hand can be hard to spot in some lights on casual glance.

Timekeeping looks like less than -2 s/d. We shall see how it settles down but that’s a promising start. According to the COSC certificate it should gain dial-down, so I might leave it in that position for a few hours tonight.

Obviously I can’t comment on PR, but at some point I will take it for a long arm-swinging walk and let it run down. Not yet, though!

Please ask any questions, though I might well answer them in the review anyway.

I wasn't surprised you got it, because it seemed to be a stylish, dressy, slim watch. Based on the fact you like the look of vintage watches and Nomos (even if you currently have only a few vintage watches left), and the C1 Russell and C5, I thought you might like the C12.

It will be interesting to see how quickly the titanium darkens. Are you already starting to see the process developing?

@iain I can’t say I’ve noticed. I’ve heard that they do darken but I have no idea of the extent or the timescale. Qué será…

As promised, the currant bun appeared. I went for a walk by the river. One thing became apparent immediately…it’s a SUNSHINE watch! 8)

Steve, is the inner workings of the clasp stainless steel but the rest of the bracelet titanium? If so that will allow you to compare the difference as the Ti darkens a little.

I might have to claim Mornington Crescent, Iain, unless you’re insisting on N. Yorkshire rules, in which case I’m in Nidd and you are clear through to Sloane Square.
