Cheers folks,

Thoughts overwhelmingly with the Speedy, I'm still in two minds though.

Think I may have to hold off, I've been going over and over on this since the middle of November, never bought watches as investments nor have I ever sold any if something catches my eye it stays with me, if I'm this indecisive it should be left money is not going anywhere.

Thanks for your opinions folks,

Appreciated

All your choices are excellent pieces. Take away the brand names and look at the watches. Don't look at quantity, look at the watches. Forget history...look at the watches and evaluate them separately and what they will mean to you.

Consider what downer has stated

I will be wearing this:

Whilst I would not try to point you in any particular direction.......

I must disagree with the wise and sage Kip!!! (Sorry)

Watches are an emotional/heart purchase as well as a head purchase.

Brand/History/tradition etc all play into how a watch "feels" and this will certainly have an influence in your purchase.

If it didn't, we would all be wearing cheap digital Casios, fashion watches etc. (Not that there is anything wrong with Casio digitals)

This is not a normal decision in the greater scheme of things!

Good luck.

Thanks 7ee, it is the best of my collection and my favorite. I only wear it on special occasions.

Wise choice going with the Omega. I've been in a similar dilemma and wound up selling the two while taking a huge loss to go after the one I really wanted. And it's a nice piece with great patina. Out of curiosity is that year your birth year?

Whatever you decide, take your time in your decision and make sure you are doing it for the right reasons. What right is dependent on what you want and your circumstances.

The speed master professional is something I also covet. A new one is out of my price range at the minute but I know your dilemma well. I'm always looking for value for money so anytime I'm in a position to buy something I really want I have a nagging feeling that I can buy something else suitable for cheaper or the like. Sometimes you have to go with your gut ad ignore the conservative side of your brain!

I would go for the Speedmaster. There is nothing rational about this hobby at all, so follow your heart.

If you do end up regretting, you can just sell it again without any big loss. I doubt you will be able to do that with the CW's.

Follow your heart indeed, watch collecting is an such an emotional experience most of the time.
