Ice Cream Twelve - Engraving

Post by GrahamB »

Morning all,

My peach Twelve has just arrived!! It's amazing.

Does anyone know where the engraving should be - I paid for it as something special but can't see it.

Either I'm being a bit blind on a Friday.... OR someone else has mine with a lovely message on!

Tbf slightly disappointed, but thought asking here first before calling CW Towers!

Thanks

I'd expect it to be on the caseback, in an arc, similar to the regular engraving.

Caveat; no personal experience.

Yep, I think so - although not sure there is much space for it!

Was a gift, so a little disappointed if they have - just wondered if someone else is struggling to work out why their one has a random quote on it 🤣

Ha, good point. In a sane world the puzzled recipient will either not notice this side of Christmas and then fall into category two OR get straight in touch with CW and arrange for things to be put right,

Or, and this is where category two kicks in, they get straight onto social media and proclaim the end of the world as we know it.

I'd prefer to see CW sort this for you straight away quite independently of them recovering "your" engraved case back.

Super, thanks. Looks lovely; would you say that it’s more red or pink?

Depends on the light and the strap I think. On the bracelet it seems redder. The strap is quite pink, and that seems to make the face seem pinker too! Catches the light really well....

I don’t see that the Ice Cream edition Twelve has an option for paying for engraving, unlike the regular 36 or40mm watches.

Very strange. It did when I ordered it (see screenshot!). And they also took the money for it.....

CW have just got back to me and said the engraving option wasn't actually available and was on the website in error when ordering! At least that's resolved and no off dials floating around...

Offered refund of engraving cost, it was meant to be a gift so will think about next steps!

Still a great gift!
