Have to say Ian, that I can see why you sold your two on. The style AVO has suits it very well, but I couldn't go for either of yours. Apart from anything else, the hands are swamped by the dial :?

I picked 2 pictures in the sun that showed the colour and texture of the dial but in reality the hands were quite visible.

Excellent Steve

Just the epitomy of a gents classic dress watch :D

I think this and the C3 early Chrono's are amongst the best looking style's done by C Ward

Well done in persevering and congrats to buyer and seller

Very nice AVO! Your version with the cream and gold is the best imo. The C1 was one of the style watches I first came here looking for but found they were discontinued and I still haven't bought a marine roman small second watch... Here's to hoping an auto C1 slimline is in the future.

The blue hands really make it.

I like that, Kip? What does the R stand for out of interest?

Thank you! While we're about it, do you know why C5 and C3 came before C1? I would have expected a more chronological approach somehow?
