I've been wearing quartz watches this year

Post by Leon O »

No particular reason, but I've only been wearing quartz watches this year.

I did make an exception on St. Paddy's Day and wore my Green Marloe Haskell.

@Leon O Nothing at all wrong with quartz watches. I've had loads of them over the years and still have my C7 Bluebird which I love.

Breaking the pattern today. I'm going to wear my C65 Trident GMT to the Red Sox game tonight. We managed to get tickets to our company's luxury suite. The Pepsi bezel is consistent with the Red Sox colors :)

Great post. I’ve felt like a vulgar philistine all year. Despite owning 20+ mechanicals, I’ve worn my 2 C7 Rapide MkII’s for six months and love the little rascals. Do I need therapy?

No. I've never strictly rotated watches. I wear what I like when I like with no feeling of compulsion.

In the last 2 years the 'Tango' C60 300 (white dial orange bezel) remains my most worn watch by a ratio of at least 15:1 vs anything else in the box. It's sort of like my sheepskin slippers, comfortable, functional, attractive (the watch) and reliable.

Ain't no shame in it, I'm gunning for 2 quartz watches and 2 mechanicals.

I currently have the 2 (might even be 3 in long term future)
Personally I'd rather wear a quartz if I was expecting to bang it around or take it on rollercoasters or something.
