That’s a fantastic photo for comparing perceived sizes!

It depends a bit on the picture angle, the C65 looks a bit too big in previous picture. The smaller dial of the Lympstone makes the watch visually smaller for sure.

That looks better. I think you caught a bit of lens parallax in the last one.

I know it's sad, but the first thing, I'll do with the compass ring, is put SW at the 12 o'clock position.

Why’s that? Is this an English reference we colonials don’t get?

Agreed. Still seems to wear surprisingly small though! Took me by surprise - I had imagined that the Lympstone would be much bigger and chunkier than the C65.

Congratulations on your acquisition Steve. Looking forward to some pics on those Natos..... with SW at the 12!.
cheers

It's arrived and I'm really happy.
Moved my initials (SW) to 12 o'clock
I've popped a few straps on, bracelet is quick release, love that !
But I'll leave it on the Blue/orange NATO for a bit.

I was very impressed with the new packaging, a real nice package.

It's a different look to what I was originally thinking of going for, but I'm really glad I went for it.
The double crown positions, are great for me, as my watches always slip towards my hand, and sometimes the crown at 3 will leave a dent.
