You are of course correct, it doesn't matter what we think, they will do exactly as they please, as befitting their status as owners of the company (and this forum). Actually it will be amusing to watch the spokesman continue to horrify his PR advisors by continually opening him mouth before engaging his brain in public, allowing potentially harmful comments to come spewing forth. They should be terrified of letting him loose for the forum chat.......

As for what we want the forum to be - an open area for discussion of both positive and negative points would be good, rather than a cosy sycophantic fawning love-in of the watches and everything they do, which would get very boring very quickly.

I think you have made my point here that people are misreading and extrapolating meanings. You have misread what I said and tuned it into an an opportunity to go off on another rant

I do hope that, given your disdain for recent events, you will be able to rearrange your schedule and attend the chat.

Have they got the riot squad on stand by for that event? If not might be worth giving the Met a call

Fair enough, I certainly hope to be free to listen to the exchanges, it would be entertaining to hear the latest unguarded gems from Mike, I wonder which product he plans to trash next?
