How to test a rebrand before you rebrand...
Re: How to test a rebrand before you rebrand...
The rebranding is a done deal, but I have to say, I cannot understand how this thread 'detracts from other topics on the forum'. If you don't want to read how people perceive the rebranding, or associated topics, I guess you don't have to read them.

Very true and I agree! What I was trying to say was the controversial nature of these threads is perhaps diverting members attention a little too much away from other areas of interest regarding CW watches that we seem to enjoy so much debating about. As you say its a done deal and the threads seem to be attracting nothing but negative comments between members - in other words a good time to move on.downer wrote:The rebranding is a done deal, but I have to say, I cannot understand how this thread 'detracts from other topics on the forum'. Ah, so if the new look CWL proves to be a success then it's no such thing, just a result of more intensive marketing?! Good news for those that dislike the new look, heads they win, tails those of us who prefer the new look lose.tomah wrote:That's not true. The only valid experiment is actually in process as we speak...sales will either (hopefully) increase or decrease ...of course if they stay statistically the same ....
E.g. if they make a bigger push to market and advertise, they'll likely make more sales. But, they will never know if the same marketing effort would have produced more sales with the old logo.
Seriously, if sales improve/stall then I would suggest that is a far better guide than the result of your convoluted ideas...
