How to gain access to Christopher ward pre-owned watch sales?

Post by egeek »

Does anyone know how to setup an email alert to be notified of CW watch sales? Thank you very much! :)

Hello all. I'm a new member and wondered if CW still has the bi-annual sale. I have signed up for their newsletter/e-mails and have received my first issue of Loupe magazine. I have been scouring all the well know websites like Ebay, Chrono24 etc, Still looking!

There is a sale regularly in January and July. Nearly New and retired/retiring models mainly. You will need a fast finger to grab the most desirable offerings.

^^^ you will definitely get a second chance on eBay if you miss out though ...

Joking aside, there are people who just don't get the email from CW for some reason, but the forum is always reliable.

For popular, non-limited-edition models (e.g., C63 black), do the sales typically have many units available? Or is it still slim pickings?

Also, very dumb question, but does the 60/60 policy still apply to the "nearly new" watches on sale?

Numbers available as sale offerings are always going to vary from maybe one or two of a particular model to an end-of-line sell off. But unless you're the storekeeper at CW you aren't going to know the numbers.

60/60 always applies to any watch you're buying new from CW so yes, you can buy a sale watch and send it back if you don't like it. By the way, picking up on this topic's header CW doesn't sell pre-owned watches.

I shouldn't tell you this but with CW sales (1) READ THE LISTING - it'll tell you things like "no manual" or "no COSC certificate" or "One-off pre-production non-standard colour rare-as-unicorn-poop" and (2) IF YOU SNOOZE YOU LOSE. If you like a watch it's important to not only get it into your shopping basket asap but to get it paid for quickly, You and I might put the same watch in our baskets and the one who pays first gets it.

Lastly I'd say please don't be a flipper. Nobody likes a smartarse and no watch collector community is going to warm to the person who scoops the jewels and then flips them on to the resale market hoping to turn a small profit.
