Re: How often do you see strangers wearing a CW?
Just today I was asked about my Sandstorm. First time that’s happened to me with a CW. So, a variation on the theme, as this time I was the stranger who got spotted with a CW.
The gent, a visitor to these parts from Chicago, owns a blue C60 Elite, but today was wearing an Apple Watch. Not much of a social media player, but he has visited this Forum. Not a member, however.

I had to change my phone today. Walked into EE and the young chap said:
“OMG! Is that a Christopher Ward C63 GMT?”
He really wants a white dial version and a Bel Canto, and has a BB58. We had quite a chat.
He’s on CWE so I told him to join the forum.

Looks like I missed out on the white dial version in the sale! Which is shame as it would look lovely next to the Tudor and Hamilton!

Spotted the presenter (didn't catch his name) on Saturday kitchen this morning wearing a bronze C60. Not sure if this has been mentioned before. I've only ever seen one person wearing a CW 'in the wild' a C60 of course.

Was at a nice hotel for an afternoon tea recently in central London. The waiter was wearing a white faced dress CW with a NATO strap. It was thinish. I didnt recognise the model. I completmented him on the watch. He gave us extra of everything

Ran into a young guy in Southall yesterday wearing a white dial C60 300 on a bracelet. A very smart looking watch.

Matt Tebbutt, I think. He seems to be quite a supporter of British watch brands, pretty sure he’s also been wearing a nice Marloe GMT recently too.
I clearly need to get out more on a Saturday morning

Today whilst queuing for my flu jab, a guy (who I assume works at the local Audi dealer, judging by his branded clothes) in front of me was wearing a C5 Malvern mk2 like the one below. It looked in fantastic condition considering an older model. Didn’t look like he wanted to chat so didn’t ask him about it.

Re: How often do you see strangers wearing a CW?
Last night at a dinner someone recognized the Twelve I was wearing. We chatted briefly. Really nice guy. I thought he said he was also wearing a CW (maybe one of the slim Malverns?) but we were queuing up for cheese (it was a weird dinner) and I missed what he’d said. Anyway. Liam, if you read this, nice meeting you.

Re: How often do you see strangers wearing a CW?
It finally happened on a train out of Paddington. If we both didn't have earbuds in I might have struck up conversation. Sorry for the sly photo if this was you, but I was so excited to see a classic CW in the wild

Certainly is, Jon. Beautiful watch, I had one when I first joined the forum, but I just found it a bit too big.

Whilst looking at the Voutilainen stand at Watch Time NYC the lady next to me was wearing a Bel Canto Azzuro Blue. That was my first BC in the wild although I also saw another Azzuro and one of the google ones the following day. I don't think seeing Mike France wearing his BC counts.
