I work at Bain in the Nordics and there are a few people I know of here who have CW watches. It hits a good balance between style and price, IMO.

Nice watch, but “Welsh Lad” not looking happy! Nor “Welsh Dad” for what it’s worth.Bahnstormer_vRS wrote: ↑Fri Nov 25, 2022 1:35 pm ^^^^ I saw that too, and did wonder.

I'm probably one of the few people in my city with a CW. I own a C60 concept. Fantastic watch, my only gripe is the thickness, otherwise it would be perfect.
Re: How often do you see strangers wearing a CW?
I'm in Brussels, I know a few watch collectors but I'm the only one with a CW.

In a reverse of the intent of this thread a stranger saw me wearing a CW yesterday. It was at a large family event and they spotted my Bel Canto from across the room and asked me if that was in fact a Bel Canto? My wife was horrified. "Oh no, another watch nerd! Well, at least he'll have someone to talk to for a while."

I spotted a Sealander in the wild yesterday.
Not a stranger though, was my eldest son, he bought it off ebay for a good price!

Re: How often do you see strangers wearing a CW?
I have never seen another person wearing a CW - but I have received a number of compliments on my CW when I wear it. I just received a new C65 Dune white sand dial, and it is a beautiful design! In Pennsylvania it seems like CW is a brand that has started to generate some interest, but there are few "in-the-wild" sightings so far.

Re: How often do you see strangers wearing a CW?
I should invade Pennsylvania... The CW count would go up considerably. Who knows I might even get spotted as a stranger wearing a CW rather than someone strange wearing a CWSteve260 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 03, 2023 12:43 pm I have never seen another person wearing a CW - but I have received a number of compliments on my CW when I wear it. Re: How often do you see strangers wearing a CW?
I grew up near Philadelphia and get back there occasionally. I know of a CWE who currently lives near the city. We could all meet up and spike up the CW count in the area.albionphoto wrote: ↑Mon Jun 05, 2023 10:07 pmI should invade Pennsylvania... The CW count would go up considerably. I have not seen one but have heard one mentioned. I was wearing my C65 GMT Pepsi when my 21 year old son mentioned a friend of his who is this big Pepsi fan and wanted either the Rolex GMT but as that was out of reach he also loved the CW Pepsi .....
I was shocked that a young lad like that had even heard of CW. Proper watch nerd!

Re: How often do you see strangers wearing a CW?
All this talk of Pennsylvanian CW owners, I met one today here in UK quite by chance and I'd not met him before; so I guess he counts as a 'Stranger'.
I went to the Memorial Service for an 'Aunt' of mine, who had died last September aged 95. The Memorial Service had been delayed until now to allow for members of her family living in the USA to attend.
I say 'Aunt', but that is really an adopted term, as she wasn't a blood relative but was best friends with my Mother back in the 1960s and 70s and Godmother to my Brother; she'd always been known to us as Auntie D.
The Pennsylvanian I met was a Grandson, his father, Auntie D's elder son, having moved to the USA some years ago from UK. I guess that might make him a 'Great Nephew' to me.
Suffice to say, we were chatting about this and that and I noticed he was wearing a Sealander GMT. "Great watch" I ventured. Turns out he owns a couple of CWs, plus other watches, and had met Peter Ellis at the Everton vs Arsenal match in the USA last year. He's a member of the CWE and also the forum as @mikewastaken
Small world.
A quick wrist shot from this afternoon . . . . . .

The only one I have seen in the wild belongs to my brother
