Re: How often do you see strangers wearing a CW?
Just been to our local cafe which I'm not in that often. I previously noticed the owner wearing a Trident mk3. Today he served us and was wearing an Abyss on the red and black hybrid. I briefly chatted to him and he said he has 4 CW's. Small world.

Re: How often do you see strangers wearing a CW?
A new barman started in my local a few months ago. I'd been in a couple of times, and he came over to clear a table I was on. I immediately recognise the familiarity of the CW C60. We struck up a discussion and turns out he worked for Rolex in his younger days, but has been down to CW Headquarters. I talked him through my collection of CWs. I now try to wear a different CW whenever I go down. The next one to wear is the CWE LE C60.

I visited the black sheep brewery today in Masham for lunch and plenty of beer.
On the next table was someone wearing a black sand super compressor. They were with their family so it wasn’t appropriate to start up a conversation, therefore I don’t know anything about them.

Literally never, I suspect I may be the only CW owner here in Jersey.
Re: How often do you see strangers wearing a CW?
Never ever, yet. However I got nudged for the first time ever for wearing a CW, my Sealander 63 gmt, in the London tube a few weeks ago. Chap just complimented it, mentioning the brand name.
Which, ill strangely admit it, feels way better than being nudged for wearing a GS. Happened to me twice and each time I secretly started to get suspicious and have enhanced situational awareness. A London thing, I reckon.

I saw someone on the train when going to London wearing one, he sat across from me in the carriage. This was in July.
Can't remember the model now but remember thinking nice one!

It's still in microbrand status over here in the States I would say. But slowly they seem to be getting a foothold in the U.S. Probaby much more common of a watch in the UK

Re: How often do you see strangers wearing a CW?
Never seen a CW in the wild, but I’ve had mine recognised a couple of times.
Ironically both the same watch but different versions:-
C60 Trident Pro red/black v2 - department store in Newcastle (salesman had on an Omega MoonWatch)
C60 Trident Pro red/black v3 - a bar in Sorrento late June this year.
Both the larger 43/42mm size.
I still think the burgundy red bezel is one of CW’s all time greats.

Spotted a C60 Chronograph in Winchester today, owner was off to Goodwood. Definitely an event on my bucket list. Owner kindly allowed me to take a photo of his watch.

Was it Ferg? He’s off to Goodwood, and I think he brought a C60 Chrono!
EDITED TO ADD: I’m now seeing the other comments. Was it Ferg then? That’s awesome!
