The other day I was returning home from a business trip and looking forward to a nice relaxing flight in upper class.
Just as I settled down into my seat, some oik from the row behind tapped me on the head and started jabbering on about watches. I had to pretend to be interested in his watch before he’d shut up and leave me alone. I think it was some Christopher Ward and he was very proud of it, but I wasn’t really paying attention.
I wish Virgin Atlantic would be more selective about who they choose to offer upgrades to....

Iain’s Law: Any discussion on the Christopher Ward forum, irrespective of the thread title or subject matter, will eventually lead to someone mentioning the Bel Canto if the thread continues for long enough.

Apparently Mike France was told to return to his seat. He tried this stunt with a couple of people; he was really wound up after attending the Wind Up watch fair in San Fran.

C9 - 5 Day Small Seconds
Omega - Aqua Terra, SMP Nekton

While I have not yet seen a CW in the wild, last year I bid (and lost out) on a CW that was listed in my region here in NY. The seller never responded to my messages about the listing or our proximity. (Did I creep them out?) But no sightings on wrist anywhere.

None so far in Kansas. I wonder in the future how many of you will be able to spot & identify Christopher Ward watches in the wild with just the Twin Flags logo to go by?

Not that often if I’m being honest. I did, however, interview a group of candidates for a position with my company and it came down to one of three candidates. There was a hair’s breadth between all of them. Now, I’m not saying that this was the decisive issue but, the two blingy Rolex wearers didn’t quite make it and the chap wearing the CW C11 MSL is doing very well…four years on.

I think everything is on the HR radar these days.
I guess you can fairly accurately judge a person by the watch that they wear? My, erm, judgement was proven to be correct on this occasion so I’d hopefully escape the evil clutches of ‘HR’ or as we call them, ‘the Mafia of the Mediocre!’
