How often do you see strangers wearing a CW?

My Commanding Officer was wearing a C60 Trident 2 years ago( it was a Afghan tribute special design), never had the chance to quiz him as it was a one way conversation.

Don't see many being worn but regularly see CW carrier bags as I work in Maidenhead, often then try and guess what they bought based on what they look like

I mentioned a couple of months ago that I'd seen one of our project managers wearing a C1000 Typhoon Cockpit Edition. I never got a chance to chat to him until today when sat next to him at a meeting.

At the end of the meeting he actually commented first that he had noticed my C65 LE and we chatted a bit. He has owned a Makaira Elite (me "I have a Makaira Pro and used to have an Extreme") and quite likes the C11 and Trident (me "I have a C11 Chrono and two Tridents" actually should have said three including the LE). So I tried to not to come over as too much of a fanboy and didn't admit how many CW's I actually have

He said he had also been looking at Steinhart as a brand, his main comment about CW was making sure he bought them when discounted as they had so many sales

I have become more aware of watches than I ever thought I would - but still have not seen a CW on anyone other than my own left wrist. It's California, and a lot of Apple Watches and FitBits, but now CWs!

Ha, Interesting thing to look for. I do ten to scope out other watches that I see other people wearing. Most of the time it's a fashion watch a la Diesel, Fossil, Skagen etc. Beautiful looking watches. I'm yet to see another individual with a CW watch. Even the used market for them locally is bone dry (Toronto).

A hirsute man with wide brimmed hat and red/pink sweatshirt in Wisbech Tesco sporting a fine Orange C11.
