Newbie here and placed first order this past Sunday. I am surprised I have not yet even received a "shipped" email for an in-stock item from CWL.
Any thoughts on the "normal" time it takes them to get orders out the door?
(not how long it takes to get to me but how long it takes them to process and ship).

The sale started back in early July...the clearance since then has been coming in drips and drabs so I have to assume the sale rush is over already.

CW isn't Amazon so please be generous in your imaginations about the size of the despatch team. My guess is that the sale rush is still a thing. I wait for notification from DPD (or from CW on behalf of DPD) to tell me that they're expecting to receive a package from CW London and only then do I know that things are happening.
I don't place any reliance on my account and order history to give me any kind of reliably accurate update on the status quo. Consider this month's curious chronology:
29th July I received an email with this news:
"We are pleased to inform you that your watch repair/service has been completed, passed its final quality control checks and is now heading to our logistics team ready to be despatched. We will email you the tracking details once it has been shipped so you know exactly when it will arrive."
5th August I bought some straps in the sale and received a confirmation email.
7th August I received an email from DPD confirming they would deliver a CW London package but without any information as to what was coming. Care to guess what arrived 2 days ago?
Honestly, my short answer is that delivery will take longer than you'd hoped and that chasing CW by email or phone serves no purpose. Relax, polish your watches, have another look at the sale.
Something is backed up for sure. I placed my order for the C63 bracelet on Aug 5. Nothing since my confirmation. I am not worried about it. Just thought I would add a datapoint that things seem to be backed up in the shipping department at the moment.

Not worried.
Did not expect them to be Amazon.
Have not contacted customer support.
I asked the question here so I could get an honest sense of usual turn-around time from a base of loyal fans.
Not being negative, but trying to be informed.
On Sunday 8/4/2024 I ordered from the following and this is the current status: eBay (local seller less than 10 miles from me): Shipped Tuesday, arrived Thursday WOE (Washington D.C. area a few hundred miles from me): Shipped Monday, arrived Thursday Hodinkee (big sale so don't judge me, shipped from Crown and Caliber several hundred miles form me): Shipped Tuesday, arrived Thursday Christopher Ward (across the pond): No notice or email except order conformation

I recently bought a watch from the sale. The money was paid and confirmed at the time, then I waited 3 or 4 days before emailing CW, received a reply the next day, dispatch was confirmed 2 days later.
I am guessing CW operate with a small team and that probably includes new employees who are learning the ropes.
In Contrast, I bought a watch off F Hinds Monday evening 9pm, instant confirmation, dispatched the next day at 11am and I received a tracking number, delivered 24 hours later.
It would be fair to say CW are not at the forefront of communications or dispatching watches at the moment from my experience.

It's clearly unusually slow at the moment. Saturday now here in Australia. I ordered a NN Twelve last weekend and it's still "your order is being prepared for shipment" status. So a week without progress.
This is my third CW and the others were on their way next day.
Keen for this one as the Twelve Ti has been on the radar from Day One waiting for a 36 in an interesting colour and right price (20% off as a NN) and it came up.
That all said, there are millions of people in war zones, starving, homeless and refugees....and more.
Waiting an extra week for a watch is hardly the end of the world.
