I found a couple of phase 3 questions really hard.

Thanks to you all who put it all together!

Good on both counts; thanks for the feedback. The contest was obviously for a limited audience (the forum) and there is a valuable prize at the end. On behalf of the Admin Team, I can tell you that we thought about that. We put in some questions that were easy to find answers to, along with a few others that required a little more research using all available resources and cross-referencing.

I’m glad to hear from you (and others) that you enjoyed it. I can assure you that we had some fun putting it together. :D

As I mentioned to Kip with my phase 3 answers, digging around the archives I noticed some watches that I'd love to own if I had the money back then to buy them. Perhaps if I hadn't spent time looking at these watches I'd have answered the questions sooner!

Yep, I too enjoyed this. I have previously browsed through the forum anyway, but it was fun seeing models I've previously missed - particularly from when I wasn't active at all on the forum. Like Shocolite, I too saw yet more watches I wished I could've owned!
Phase 3 threw me a little, making it the most difficult (hopefully I got it right!), but 1 was also a bit tricky. Some devious questions!
Great work from those who put it together, and thank you! Now fingers crossed for my phase 3 answers and the final prize!

Had a great time doing the research, thought I was back at the university working on a thesis. Learned a lot about Christopher Ward, wonderful forum.
