This colour is my third favourite; the first two LEs taking the top spots. I didn't think vibrant colours would suit the Bel Canto. I've been proven wrong.
I'm looking forward to other colour variants that may materialise, although, the production backlog will certainly make that a long wait.
A couple of years is nothing much in the grand scheme of things, especially if you are getting a watch that's a bargain at list price. If you were offered a guaranteed date for a Rolex you wouldn't ever pay a grey premium, would you?
The practical side of me completely agree with you and accept the backlog for what it is, the result of a highly successful model. The emotional side (a very small side) would like to see any more new colours now.
In another BC thread, there were a number of forum members hoping to see a deep red and/or a white variant(s). I'm certainly curious to see that but I suspect CW will want to fulfill most of the backorders before releasing any further colours, hence, a long wait.
I actually jumped on this so quick and sent CW an e-mail to cancel my Rosa pre-order, but now I've found this thread so sent them a second email to ignore my request to cancel the pre-order. Fingers crossed XD
But truth be told I only placed the order a few weeks ago, so even if I need to reorder the total delay would be about 1 extra month. I do like this orange version a lot, too bad it's not meant for general release, but I'd definitely like to see a red version preferably before my Rosa is ready to ship.

And just out of pure curiosity, if the demand is so high for this version couldn't CW bump the production to 200? or 300 like previous versions and sell the remaining (if any) on their website? I bet they'd sell like hotcakes.

If you read the previous page of the thread carefully, you will realise this is not a standard release but a custom series ordered by a specific car-lovers' group. The number is fixed by them.

Yeah, I got that, but still I would assume that if they asked for more pieces CW would be able to build them (with proper wait times of course). I guess I'm just a bit annoyed because this edition looks so good and I probably won't be able to get it, so don't mind me
^^^ As the previous member pointed out, it was commissioned by a private group. I doubt very much whether they would want extra copies going on sale to people outside their group. It would have been the group commissioning the watch who determined the numbers.

Exactly this
The number was fixed at 99 at the project inception, as I considered that number would fairly give the (2 clubs) members sufficient opportunity, plus a few for friends. The intention was to do like Enzo Ferrari and make 1 fewer than we estimated demand at

100%, and each of the 99 pieces are individually numbered.
From the information in the Oracle of Time article it is, to me, clearly a Bespoke order (Oracle of Time mentions collaboration).

Reading this post I made earlier again, I've realised that my expression was not abundantly clear.
That is to say, whilst it has been clarified that the C1 Bel Canto 'Phoenix' is a Bespoke order organised by @JasH the reference to "(Oracle of Time mentions collaboration)." is mention towards a separate CW x Oracle of Time collaboration watch (model unspecified).
If this makes sense.

For those long standing CW fans like me that are genuinely interested in owning the Bel Canto with the fiery dial but can't afford to get a matching super car, I'd merely want to say that it probably wouldn't cause any harm to send JasH a PM or email.
It's definitely a long shot with no guarantees, but in the event that there's even a tiny surplus of phoenix edition watches within the supercar group that remain unclaimed I think it would make sense if those extra pieces went to real CW enthusiasts who would wear them with pride and joy.
I have had numerous emails from here asking for an allocation for the Bel Canto Phoenix.
Please note that the Bel Canto Phoenix is FULLY allocated, for all its 99 pieces. There are no watches remaining to allocate, as 99 pieces was far fewer than the demand for it.
I am maintaining a reserve list in case of any cancellations, but I am sorry I have no serials remaining to allocate

I think you've hit on an absolute winner with the Bel Canto Phoenix, and I'm sure all the future owners will be feeling suitably chuffed at being able to get one.

Guy,
Thank you kindly. I was very surprised at the hugely positive reception the Bel Canto Phoenix got.
Had I realised how great the interest was going to be, I would have asked for the same number of watches as the Azurro and Verde, at 300. Or 299 Following Enzo Ferrari's ethos of making 1 fewer than demand
I look forward to posting wrist shots of it next year.
