Probably (one of the many reasons) why I don't own one of them. Interestingly enough CW does it "right" (IMNSHO) on the C60 and C65 GMTs but "wrong" on the C63. Inconsistent design language across the brand...

Actually it isn't. To MichaelMDs point, those models have twisty bezels where the bottom numbers could end up on top of the watch. Like this one:

I think intelligent people can work it out either way. You do need numbers for a rotating bezel. Without the bezel we can easily tell the time with 12 index marks. We can tell the time with California dials, with Roman numbers, and so on. It doesn't matter if a few numbers are upside down, relatively. We can deal with that.

Looks like they are entering the used market - there is one listed on ward hoard for £915 no less.
