Got the new bracelet for my orange Kingfisher...

Post by chrisedwards »

The new style bracelet for my C60 arrived yesterday, thanks Wera for getting it to me so quickly.

For those umming and ahhing - it is stunning. Well made, solid, nice and heavy, and really suits the C60 - makes it look like a completely different watch. The brushed edges of the bracelet against the brushed case of the Kingfisher really go together well, and the polished centre link sets it off glinting in the sun - brilliant.

Pics will follow when it's a bit lighter and I can get some daylight on it but to say that I am pleased is an understatement!

... and a few other non-CW’s

concensus is the new one is a winner... have to say the only old style one I would contemplate would have been an IPK corax for my c600 but the Maratac is brilliant...

The term SeaMaster covers a whole range of watches. Anything in particular?

It looks good but I have not seen one in the flesh. But at £95 it ought to be good. The old bracelet is really nice on the C4 and C7 range.

Only £3700 new. That is a bit more upmarket compared to a half price C6 or even a £415 Trident. There is a black dialled one (bezel can be changed) on TZ-UK for only £1700. Then do you want the 45mm or 42mm one? I tried on both )of the all black version the other week). The 45mm is too big but the curves are nice. The 42mm seemed out of proportion with the case and bracelet.

I got the bracelet yesterday, and the jury is still out to decide if I like it.

The bracelet itself looks and feels nice. Good quality, nice finish.
But... the brushed metal doesn't quite fit the blasted C6/C60 case.

What has me worried more is that the two most inner micro holes cannot be used.
The divers extension blocks the clasp's lock mechanism when these are used.
