Not sure about V1, but here’s some photos of my V2 (C60 CWEC)
Many thanks, I’m not a fan of white hands on a white dial. But I would’ve bought one of these.

Now to see what V1 looks like, anyone?

Ooh I like that, could have been more evil looking (black lume on the batons, perhaps?) but it's good enough to buy. Sadly still not in a position to do so :(

^^^ Likewise; all watched out for the year (beefed up my accumulation with a total of 6 new watches since April, including two CWs, plus various straps and bands).
Beat up vintage Swatch Irony, C5 Malvern (the original), Swiss Military Swiss Soldier Quartz, Seagull 1963, Swatch Blurang Automatic, Swatch Cafe de Flore, Sealander GMT, Trident Pro 600, Fitbit Charge 5. Festina 8810, Addiesdive AD2113 knock off.

Having been involved in the first CWE, this seems to be a bit of a weird one....
From what I gather, and please correct me if I'm wrong....
The members of said group have had no input on design, development etc whatsoever?

Right, that’s what he said. They had a working group to create something, which seems a lot more manageable than designing by committee.

There was quite a discussion about this on the Facebook page when this was announced recently. It sounds like some members got together to design the watch but from that point on it was designed behind the scenes until the finished watch was unveiled.

The members who designed it said anyone was welcome to have joined them, but some seemed to think it was too removed from the group to be allowed to carry the CWE name.

To be honest I haven’t really engaged with the group much for quite some time now. I still get their posts on my Facebook but never post anything and rarely interact.

^^^ I’m still a member but I’ve unfollowed because it was flooding my feed. They have gone the way of cottage cheese philosophy, share to scare, share if you care, stupid “games”, paste and post, and boring political satire.

Are you sure that’s the same group? I only ask as I don’t find the CWE FB group to be like that at all. The admins do a good job of keeping on top of things. I actually ended up using FB again after joining the group, and find it generally good. There are a few others with similar names, so maybe one of those?
I can’t comment on whether the red sunburst Sealander is good as I was on the team working with CW to try to get it across the line, so I’m biased!

Many thanks for posting V1, those little red highlights really set it off.

I would’ve been interested in either of these V1 or V2.

V3 not for me, even though it looks pretty special.

Keep us informed of any progress. It might inspire the Forum to resurrect a FLE project.

Sorry, my post was possibly a little ambiguous. The only problem with CWE was the number of watch pictures that hit my newsfeed every day.

The other things I mentioned were nothing to do with CWE, just annoying posting habits from friends who are currently unfollowed or snoozed. Apologies if I didn’t make that clear. I do visit CWE occasionally, but I didn’t want it visiting me all day.

No worries! Was surprised. And yeah, it's all that stuff that put me off Facebook in the past.

Update on the V3; we're at 37 at the moment, but really need to push to 50, so it's far from over yet. You would think more people would be interested in something that's so exclusive; the Atoll went crazy, and then ended up being flipped by some. I keep trying to maintain interest in it, but it's not easy. Cheers!

Lots of people wear a blue watch, few are brave enough to wear a red one. I wouldn't worry yet as I'm sure some people are waiting until later in the month so it doesn't hit the credit card bill as soon

Also something was bothering me so I've had a closer look and found it. In both pics it looks like the second hand of the watch on the hybrid strap has a black tip while the one on a bracelet doesn't. Is it a trick of the light?

Normally this kind of limited edition would get me excited but, ironically, I'm planning to get last year's Oris Aquis Cherry sometime soon. I do think that's a nicer looking red watch but it's also a lot more money so... :ka:

I've been considering it, but at 39mm, it's just too small for me.
