Re: Freewheelin’
I guess that anyone watching the general YouTube video, this can be done with or without signing up to the email. The email probably just gathers info for data use and an email might be sent later.
The video is sat on their channel at https://www.youtube.com/@ChristopherWardWatches and will begin when the premiere starts.
It is also here for anyone looking - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=99c2Alsg8V0

Re: Freewheelin’
Is there such a thing as too much marketing? I'm getting turned off from this new release with all the hyberbole surrounding the launch.
I mean, it's not aimed at me (owner of 4 CW watches) and I could just ignore it. The Twelve and Bel Canto are not watches that interest me and I suspect the new launch will be in that design frame along with a price tag to match.
I also realise the Bel Canto is inexpensive compared to, say, I dunno, IWC doing the same but it's still an unaffordable amount to the majority and not what CW was originally about when I came to them 16ish years ago.
I wonder if a casual "oh, yeah, nearly forgot, we just launched this watch today" would be as effective (I failed all marketing modules at university btw!)
Will I be tuning in? Of-bloody-course I will be! But I'll be surprised if I like it or want to buy whatever is coming!

Re: Freewheelin’
I have the same feeling to be honest, too much marketing for my taste and too many superlatives. I would have preferred they just did a "we're launching a new watch tomorrow, stay tuned" thing. And I sincerely doubt it can be as good and innovative as Bel Canto.
On the other hand, I'm pretty sure I'll get one eventually, and I don't even like the Twelve which I assume it will based on. But if they're doing this level of marketing, it has to be good, right?
We'll know soon enough.

Re: Freewheelin’
I am excited to see this but I have a growing concern (through my own speculation) that it will be in a 12 case which will be a no no for me
I hope I am wrong….

Sorry if as a non-admin/moderator I am overstepping the boundaries here, but I think we should take a moment to remind ourselves of the Watch launch leaks message posted several weeks ago.

Re: Freewheelin’
To be fair, I think they've been doing an amazing job preventing or containing leaks, considering yesterday's event and all the hype they've been building during the past week.timepieces_and_bags wrote: ↑Wed Apr 23, 2025 3:33 pm Sorry if as a non-admin/moderator I am overstepping the boundaries here, but I think we should take a moment to remind ourselves of the Watch launch leaks message posted several weeks ago.
For example, the M.A.D.2 unveil date was moved 1 week earlier than scheduled because it got leaked, and they didn't even have to do an event with hundreds of strangers (no offense to anyone).
