The question is not which we prefer, but which CWL favour and that's now clearly obvious judging by recent events.
“little intellectual substance” - really? Note to myself, must do better.

An internet based company seeking to appeal to as wide a range of online users as possible?

Isn’t it what they used to call blue-sky thinking in noughty bizspeak? :D

Reminded me of many a tedious meeting sat through in a previous life - you might say that:

Christopher Ward are looking through the window of opportunity and undertaking some out of the box blue sky thinking. This is to ensure that they are not out of the loop and can square the circle while they drill down and pick the low hanging fruit.

Having hit the ground running they are now going forward in a customer centric manner without reinventing the wheel or kicking it into the long grass on a level playing field.

Having got into the driving seat and identified the quick wins they have touched base and circled back to get a good strategic fit. It is now a win win game plan with all the 'i's dotted and 'T's crossed.

Do people still speak like this in meetings? I have been out of the corporate world for over 10 years, but it was still prevalent when I escaped.

Throw in a few obscure acronyms and it becomes even more interesting - not.

When I was working, that would have generated a very quick winner in “W*nk Word Bingo” the game all employees can play!

I have to say that I do not miss the corporate speak and all of you that still have to endure it have my sympathy.

I jumped from board room meetings to the polar opposite world of construction site meetings where there is one universal acronym that gets applied to all situations:

'JFDI'

Only it is not used an an acronym it is expressed 'long hand'!

It leaves no one in any doubt where they stand or what the message is

A senior Inspector in the Tax Office once suggested that we needed to 'grasp the nettle' to which I replied that only a silly person would do that.

He wandered off.

No Gary it wasn't and it was sufficient to defer any promotions I luckily wasn't interested in.

I can't abide fools whoever they are.

On one hand - it's easy to put photos on facebook... not so easy on a forum.

On the other hand - the "for sale" in the forum is great - I've used it twice to buy watches and been very happy on both occasions (Thanks WelshLad & Viognier) - I would avoid buying through facebook like the plague!

Image upload plugins are available for forum software - the one below works with postimages.org and adds a simple button with 'add image to post'.
It's been mentioned a few times but not happened. I have no experience with this plugin, but I'm sure it would help some add pics to posts.
