My sympathies.

Hope the best case scenario happens: they catch the thieves and recover your stuff.

Terrible, terrible thing here. At least you and the family are ok. The violation is another matter all together. :(

As village said, if you are unable to locate the paperwork, please contact Wera and ask if she is able to get the numbers for you.

Put it together and get it posted so we can keep an eye out. Many eyes are better than one!

Include all the watches missing, not just the CWs.

****.....everyone else here has already voiced my sympathies on your violation.....in some small comfort to your wife and daughter......at the end of the day the stuff stolen was only material things....just glad they didn't come in whilst you were there.....good luck with the insurance, like you say, you only know how good the insurance company are when you try to claim

For all you e-Bay watchers

My sympathies to you and your family for the violation of some bastered intruding your home. I'm glad you weren't there, as a friend of mine recently got burgled at night when they were at home asleep, the first thing they noticed was a brick next to the bed???? Then realised the car was missing with there possessions loaded in it. When talking to the police they said about the brick, the police said they were lucky not to have woken up as one of the thieves was probably standing over them with said brick, incase they woke up..... Scary!

I am sorry to hear about this incident and I sincerely hope the insurance company helps rather than hinders. I hope you and the family are able to move on from this **** event.

Like many of the other quotes on here my thoughts are with you, I think we have all had the same, my family home twice, the second time my late father found them in the home, mention of guns from the little toe-rags made my dad back off, but did at least get the police (all 20 of them to the house fast) to attend, but never caught them...!

Anyway as Jag says, he has his Mrs B, for me a Mrs L, Mrs L is a very nice LED torch (bought of Deal Extreem.com) it has the brightest light you have ever seen, Blind the buggers first, and then comes the nice bit, ithas a very strange sharp besel round the edge of the glass face, that one would suppose do a lot of damage to someone in the face if struck, but of course it wouldn't because they would see it coming....! (unless blinded)

I like my watches and would prefer to keep them for me...!

Thanks all for your thoughts and support.

This is the second time in 5 months that we have been hit and we supposedly stay in one of the 'nice' areas! The first time was at 2am when we were in the house but scared them off when we got up to see what the noise was. A whole different experience to this one!

I was at the police station yesterday as they had caught 2 men who had our iPad, laptop and my daughters camera (they wont return that because I don't have the dreaded paperwork! :fluch: ) Unfortunately these were not the men who robbed us, but the dealers who took the goods in exchange for a few narcotics! No watches, no jewellery returned. Not a hope that these will be returned at any point.

Anyhow, I have been relatively efficient and do have the paperwork for both CW watches that have been stolen (the C* Pilot and Gucci were found in the house). They are:

C90 Becketts Power Reserve, Black Face, Serial No: 0009
Kingfisher Splash Pink, Serial No: 157, Engraved 'Happy 18th' on the reverse of the case.

None of the watches will have original paperwork or boxes as I still have them!

Thanks again!
