The steel is perfect I would say.

a GMT Dartmouth, want want. Is it even possible
I assume the C65 GMT and Dartmouth are the same case with just different dials and bezels.

It's not gonna happen, but I'd be in for that - GMT, steel bezel, COSC with date

Nice design but not for me; a plain blue dial GMT seems a bit run of the mill.

Could always make it a gradient dial and contrasting GMT hand?

Probably still wouldn't be my first choice but would definitely meet my 'non-standard' criteria so would be interested in seeing a mock up.

Snap! The blue C60 is my first choice at the moment but it’d be interesting to see a mock up

I know I'm repeating myself, but dates at 6 need to be vertical windows to be feasible.

Not sure you what the reason was but you mentioned it before. Fixed in the image above and looks better that way.

I just wanted to make sure that everyone had an accurate understanding of what the date at 6 would look like. You know what a fussy bunch WISs can be - someone might say "I wouldn't have voted for that if I'd known the date would have to be vertical" etc. :)

And I agree that it definitely looks better vertical in your latest illustration.

Plain or graduated blue GMT please - at last it'd be a CW GMT with the name logo at 12.

Slightly unsure of the different shade blue GMT hand - IMO doesn't work as well on the graduated blue shade shown as the dial is moving towards the green end of blue (if you know what I mean). Just about works on the plain blue so any suggestions for a different colour GMT hand? But it's not going to happen as a FLE, is it?

A Dartmouth GMT looks good, but... there’s a practical problem with the un-numbered dial.

The GMT hand rotates once per 24hrs and you need to be able to read off which hour it has just passed. In the images above the GMT hand is between the 4 & 5 hour batons, but what hour is that on a 24hr GMT scale?

Now you could do the mental arithmetic and work out that it’s between 8 & 10, and probably just after 9. Or you could just read it off the 24hr bezel  But oh dear, that bezel rotates

Now if it had a fixed 24hr bezel it would work, but that starts to be an homage to a @#*lex :silent:

The C60 GMT has a rotating 24hr bezel. I thought the Rolex GMT Master did as well? So, wheres the problem?

A fixed 24 hour bezel is automatically included. Just don't turn it. ;) Not many people need to keep track of 3 different time zones.

Adding 24 hours on the dial itself would make it way too busy and you probably won't be able to read them anyways.

The C65 Trident GMT has the same design.
