I am not in any real distress, mostly excited. Besides one Fortis over a decade ago I have not treated myself to a nice watch. As a Paramedic I do not make all that much and I have three kids and a wife who stays home. This was my Birthday present to myself, to buy it I had to sell a old XS650 Yamaha that I had wanted to restore. So to say I am anxious for it to arrive would be a understatement.

To Peteos earlier point, it does appear that the Royal Mail tracking number does work inthe USPS site. It was just sitting in NYfor the last for days? It showed last night that it arrived in the Charlotte USPS facility. Now we will see how long it takes them to transfer it to the Fort Mill office andput it on a truck? I workin Charlotte, wish I could just stop by and pick it up. Maybe it will be hear tomorrow?

Well it made it to Fort Mill today at 9AM, my mail usually arrives about 2PM, so far it has not said out for delivery? So maybe I will have to wait till tomorrow? The main post office is only about a mile from my house:(. Does not seem to be a lot of Priority in Priority mail. Oh well, I am at work anyways: when I do get it I will try to post Pics ASAP. I just have a busy week till Sunday though.

And I think I predicted weds earlier in thread. Why did we not start a pool?

I wonder if we Americans seem inpatient. Nah couldn't be.

You are right Kip it will be here tomorrow I am pretty sure, so 9 days. I am just excited, as I am sure many of you are when awaiting a new watch. I have to work a 14 hour shift tomorrow so maybe there willbe something nice for me when I get home.

USPS site just states they were informed of the senders intent to despatch the item. I will give a few days and check again. See if anything changes. Probably about 7 or so days away.
As I thought... don't worry I predict will arrive at your address next Wednesday :)
I decided to reply to myself ... so i missed by a day :)

So my wife says the box arrived. Just have 7 hours left in my shift then I can go home and open it.

Well in the end it was 10 days from the day I ordered it, and 7 days after they shipped it.

And we now know for sure that the Royal Mail tracking number does work in the USPS site, though it seems USPS updates the status a day behind.

Now I just hope it is not to big for my wrist, I will put up photo's ASAP.

Only three and a half hours of the shift left...
How long to get home? (Take it easy down 77 - the watch will still be there)

You been to Charlotte before? If I get off ontime, then it will take about 35 min to get home.
