First CW on it's way

Post by Gilgamesh »

Hello all,

I saw the thread about the c5 getting a facelift and that someone had contacted Wera about any remaining c5's with the old face. So I took a chance and sent an email and was able to procure a NN steel c5 with black strap. Should be here in the next few weeks.

Wera was fantastic, responsive and helpful through the 3-day long email exchange. I am someone who values good customer service and this experience has me setting aside a fund for my next CW, (probably a c60)

Thanks to Wera and CW for making this such a pleasant experience.

Good to hear another story of great service, although we should hardly be surprised. :)

They'll be starting to wonder why people are urgently e-mailing to secure pre-facelift C5's soon. And hopefully thinking that there is still a market for decent looking C5's

That terrific. The wrote the book on customer service. I had a few experiences and they totally satisfied the situation. The black strap will look great with that particular watch. The C5 was my first.

About 10 days. Middle of America (Cleveland, Ohio) so it's a fair distance away.

I always tell people to allow about 10 business days from ordering......lately it has been faster. :)

Congrats Gilgamesh -

In the same boat here. My first CW - Trident - SKS has landed on US soil on its way to CO. If the USPS doesn't go bankrupt this week we should both be in good shape.

Big DITTO on Wera's help and professional aplomb as I changed my watch order from SOKS to the SKS, added bracelet sizing and additional silicone strap - all went smooth and precise. I'm in SW sales and our team are big fans of "take care of the customer and they'll take care of you". Sure enough the C60 has yet to arrive and I already have my eye on the C70 Rapide.

MR. WARD and team, as for the line "EAT YOUR HEART OUT ROLEX" - Actually my Rolex GMT Master was taken in El Centro, Buenos Aires Aug 8 2010. After a year + of self imposed penance (my fault for wearing it in an area and town I frequent and know better) your C60-GMT-SKS is the instrument I have chosen to replace it with. I have no higher praise.

Promise pics up on this site the day the C60 GMT arrives.

Almost forgot Gilgamesh - GO BROWNS! (assuming you're a fan)

The C5 arrived today. It took a bit longer to ship than I thought it would, but upon contacting Wera, I found out she had upgraded the shipping for me! As I mentioned before, the customer service I have received has been outstanding.

Anyway, here are pictures of the watch on me. My apologies for the bad photos;
1. I used the camera on my phone
2. I am a horrible photographer

Overall, I'm quite pleased. Now to save up for the c60...
