Looks nice. Glad that you enjoy it. How are you finding the readability / clarity? I remember thinking that the black C9 looked like it could suffer from a bit of an issue there, but things look pretty clear in your pictures.

I got mine this week and had a concern over legibility but it is fine - sure, no lume but day to day it is fine and very elegant:

Hi,

I am also a recent first time buyer, and have a C9 Harrison Auto on order and expected next week.

Your photos looks great, and I'm looking forward to mine arriving.

I'm a little concerned that this watch buying thing might be addictive: I only discovered CW in November last year and have two already... 8-)

Cheers

Darren.

Darren - 1) it is 2) don't worry and enjoy them.

A watch for every occasion and some more is fine. First CW for me was August 2011, now 8 and counting...

Nice first CW, and great first post. If I wore dress watches more, I would probably own this, or a C5 auto, by now. Since I don't wear them often (they don't go well with wrestling drunks, avoiding puke, and getting bled on), I stick with my C3 and vintage pieces for dress. Not to say one won't find it's way into the watch box eventually...

The readability/clarity of the watch is not bad. It reflects the light very nicely in fact. From certain angles and in low light, however, it does suffer. But for most occasions I'd say it's fine; the cleanness of the dial and the size definitely helps.

I received my C9 Harrison last week - and today is the first time I have worn it.

Enjoy your new watch.

Thanks for all the replies. :D

Yes, I definitely think this watch will not be my last. Although unfortunately I won't be able to afford another for quite a long time. :( Already have my eyes on the Steinhart Ocean 1 or CW Trident for a more casual/everyday watch, though. 8)
