Finally found one!

Post by FloridaPhil »

After 2+ years of looking, I finally found a bracelet for my 38mm Trident - and for just $50 on WatchRecon. These seem to be incredibly difficult to find.

It JUST fits my wrist with the dive extension fully extended. Unfortunately the 6 spare links that came with the bracelet were a slightly different design and don't fit but I just discovered that the spare links are identical on the 22mm and 20mm mk2 bracelets - and I have a ton of them. I just need to brush one and install it. Result!

Very pleased with the look.

I'll photograph the links that didn't work in case someone here needs them.

Good news Phil, do you know if your want to buy post ever did make it into the Guinness book of records due to how long it was up?

Well done for sticking in there and eventually finding a bracelet to suit.

The blue/blue looks really good on the bracelet - a great combination of a difficult to find watch and bracelet.

LOL - I posted here July 2023 but had been looking for a while. It's been quite the chase. I found some at insane asking prices, over $220, but I had no intention of paying that much. I was gutted to have missed one on eBay that had sold a couple of hours earlier for $120 so this was a nice find.

Yes, I have kicked myself repeatedly for not ordering it on the bracelet in the first place. It does work on the bracelet much better than the 43mm version I used to have.

Thanks. It has been frustrating at times but all's well that ends well. A good outcome.

Phew. I can now disable all my automatic internet searches.

Success - it's good to have the option, even if you like it on a strap.

Mind you, I have actually just put a couple of my favourite watches back on their bracelets, and now that watch box has a cluster of S/S bracelets with little really to distinguish the watches - so I think I will be retrieving the straps again in due course. :(

Yep, options are good. The Barton strap worked well too.
