Fancy a lick?

Post by Stif »

I've been far too quiet on here recently, but my third CW arrived today and it would be wrong to not pop along to share and have a wee chat!

I recently went along to the Glasgow leg of the CW roadshow, where Michael and Declan were touring the UK to showcase the current range - it was an absolutely fantastic evening and great to get a chance to try on lots of watches.

In particular it was great to be able to try different sizes within the same range (such as the 38/40/42 Tridents and 36/38/40 Twelves)... funnily enough, the 38mm LE Ice Cream Twelves weren't fully on display, I spotted one sat off to the side and asked if I could 'have a go'...

...and of everything I tried that evening the Peach limited edition Ice Cream Twelve was my absolute highlight!

So after a bit of thought (and a quick eBay sale to make space) I reached out to Declan at the showroom and asked if there was any chance of getting my hands on one... and today a lovely parcel arrived in the post!

Unfortunately pictures really don't do the dial justice at all!
The texture and colour play with the light wonderfully, and I couldn't be happier with it!

I had the bracelet sized, but when I tried it on I went ahead and removed another half link which gave a perfect fit - and with the addition of the micro adjustment on the clasp this should be perfect for a warm summer's day. Looking forward to popping it onto the rubber strap to chill by the pool when the holidays come around

Looks just the job! Congrats.

Tell me again, where is it you live and where are you planning to go that’s warm and sunny? :D

I'm in Glasgow Steve, so not much sunshine here! (Except on my wrist now of course  )

We're planning a summer trip to Majorca this year though, so should get at least a couple of weeks of actual sun (to hide from...)
