Re: Fake Christopher Ward
^^^^ Yet to be seen.
There are various clone / homage watches that mimic CWs, available on a variety of websites, but the all have their own brand name to them.
Could you perhaps expand on your comment "I have seen new 2025 watches offered at good prices and look as new."
That said; as with any purchase of a pre-owner item, do your due diligence, to verify it's authenticity, remembering to 'Buy the Seller'.

Re: Fake Christopher Ward
Thanks for the prompt reply the 2025 Twelve watches I have seen have been on EBay and generally are selling around £850 with 2025 Authentication Card on bracelet sometimes with rubber strap included which is quite a saving on new I live in Spain so cannot go to look at any of them so was considering ordering to my family’s address as I am in U.K. briefly for a couple of days in May other than that I would order a new one direct from CW delivered here to me in Spain is around €1400 with rubber strap and bracelet

Maybe some were bought in the recent sale, and are offered at a fair price.Chriswatch812 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 22, 2025 1:29 pm Thanks for the prompt reply the 2025 Twelve watches I have seen have been on EBay and generally are selling around £850 with 2025 Authentication Card on bracelet sometimes with rubber strap included which is quite a saving on new I live in Spain so cannot go to look at any of them so was considering ordering to my family’s address as I am in U.K. briefly for a couple of days in May other than that I would order a new one direct from CW delivered here to me in Spain is around €1400 with rubber strap and bracelet

Re: Fake Christopher Ward
^^^^ Ah, that makes sense now.
These are likely Nearly New (from the January Sale) or Sample Sale (recent one day event at the CW Showroom) watches that were sold at 30% or 40% off RRP and the buyer will be trying to turn a quick profit before, if they're unsold, returning them to CW under the 60/60.
NB> I recall the sample sale only had a 14 day return period, nevertheless at 40% off, the buyer might be taking a punt.
Look for the SKU on the Warranty Card. If it's a regular watch it will be C12-40. . . . .etc.
A nearly new purchase should be N12-40 . . .etc. or possibly S12-40 . . . . etc. if a Sample Sale.
The different codes help CW if the watch gets returned.
Hope this helps.

Re: Fake Christopher Ward
^^^^ January and July.
20% off for Nearly New
30% off for Clearance - retiring models.
Tends to be individual pieces, maybe only one of a specific model/version.
Not an across the board reduction.
Check back for the January Sale topic to get a feel.

May have some light marks on it. It will not be 'new'.
