Interesting observation! This certainly has references to the Apex line. And it might have been me who was asking.

^^^^ If it is, the C1 Apex, it means I'll have a triple Apex collection.

WOW. I kind of really like this. Too bad I don’t have $2800+ to spare

It doesn’t show up for me anywhere on the prototype sale page or anywhere within CW. Only if I click your link. How did you find it?
I found it by searching for 'prototype' in the search box. This C1 showed up and was a public, not password protected link. So I assumed it was publicly available.

Power glow! What a beautiful watch. On the rear lume, agree, not sure how it would get any light. Brellum do a similar thing

I can’t wait for a photo of the Powerglow along side your Apexes!

Perhaps someone can inquire with CW as to whether or not the Powerglow was indeed part of the development process for a C1 Apex.

EDITED TO ADD: Those three would be worthy of their own three watch display box!

Not really cool of CW to post this for sale to the public at the same time there was an exclusive forum sale. Only three units produced. This would have been an obvious addition to the private sale. While the forum members are distracted fighting over what is left in the private sale, the general public gets to snag would might possibly be the best looking prototype in a long time. It would be interesting to see if any forum members managed to get one of these.

Nothing for me today, but thanks so much Kip and the Admins and CW for the chance! That Powerglow is going to haunt my dreams!

Mitigation maybe, but not a defence.

Posting the link is/was contrary to Kip's 'Terms of Engagement'.

I'm also happy, I went into this with one intention... I wanted a white faced 40mm (ish), SH21, dress watch... auto or hand wind didn't matter, to replace my very first CW, the original 5 Day automatic which I gave to my dad :D

Spotted this early and managed to get it... order confirmation has just come through

Just to be clear, it was listed as part of the Prototype Sale, as a late addition. Unfortunately, the password protection was then omitted from it in error, which meant it could be found publicly if you searched specifically for it on the CW site. But it isn't publicly available/promoted on the CW site and is listed only as part of the Forum Exclusive Prototype Sale.

To bring attention to the benefits of been a member of this forum to other CW aficionados?
Remember these forums without members they just stop existing, Facebook don’t.
On that group there are a lot of amazing people that love the brand and would be great if they join to the forum.

Maybe they can check the three buyers against Kip’s list and boot out anyone who shouldn’t have seen it! Then sell one to me...
