EBay looks like a happy place for legacy models?

Post by tikkathree »

Maybe it's the "sell for free" which is tempting sellers but my EBay feed this morning tells me that there are at least three C6 Kingfishers, an early C60, a C8, a C1 and a C5 currently listed (and I'll wager there's a C600 Tritech too). For folks like me with a penchant for the legacy models this could lead to an expensive Christmas  and a heavy start to the New Year

For anyone thinking of buying a CW Legacy model, the Pricing Information (original RRP) may be found here in the CWArchive along with the Resale information here also in the CWArchive.

Alternatively the Resale and Pricing Information may be found in the details of each model, having first done a Model Search in the CWArchive

Happy hunting.

I’ve picked up several CW watches from the depths of eBay, as my wallet can attest. Most have been various C5 examples, but also some older C60 divers. As with any dabbling with the auctions, sometimes you lowball an offer and get lucky. Then you realize you’ve been too lucky and have to reconsider all the buys. :p (I only sell watches if they duplicate too much of my collection or I just can’t justify keeping them.)
