Re: E-mail survey
I completed it on the assumption that a person will actually read and consider written comments. I offered constructive feedback on the branding issue, but that is a done deal in my view and this will be the last time I bother myself about it. I asked for a bit more innovation in design and a move away from aviator styles which have run their course. Others will challenge me on this, but the design bores me senseless. Having recently discovered what a fine watch the C60 is, I have asked for a modern twist on the dive watch concept.

Re: E-mail survey
The original C6/C60 Kingfisher and C600 were quite a good twist on standard divers and still pretty unique in the market place. The C60 Trident is a more traditional look with a twist with the hands.Leo David wrote:Having recently discovered what a fine watch the C60 is, I have asked for a modern twist on the dive watch concept.

Re: E-mail survey
I do hope that someone is reading all the comments. Does anyone work for a polling firm? Are these boxes there just to let the customers vent a little steam? Are comments on particular subjects collated and others ignored?

Re: E-mail survey
Off topic I know but if you read some other early threads I believe the C600 could be revamped and reworked to give a fresh injection to the diver line-up (Mk 2 version!) by taking heed of the suggestions made by forum members. Then I'd buy oneianblyth wrote:The original C6/C60 Kingfisher and C600 were quite a good twist on standard divers...Leo David wrote:Having recently discovered what a fine watch the C60 is, I have asked for a modern twist on the dive watch concept.

Re: E-mail survey
Call me old fashioned , but i don't believe that any feedback that is constructive and not what the owners may want to read given in the survey will/would prevent anyone winning the voucher.......so i gets to win then....

Re: E-mail survey
I didn't get email notification of the survey or the offers, so emailed Wera yesterday. She and Chris sorted it out quickly, of course!
For the record, I didn't mind the logo! Also suggested a C5 or similar with manual wind, as well as a 38mm manual with square dial and Roman numerals. That would be cool!

Re: E-mail survey
Ian, Alex, Steve, thanks for your comments. I agree the Kingfisher offered a variation in style, especially when fitted with the coveted burnt orange dial. What I'd like to see is something new, eye catching and unique. I realise that's a very tough call, but taking a leaf from the Bathys design manual (one of these days I will take the plunge and buy one) they use ruthenium on their dials and pvd coatings along with much bolder numbering and better lume all of which adds a different dimension. That's the sort of thing I want CWL to produce. Then again perhaps the solution is for me to just go and get a Bathys, it's clearly what I like. For those of you who haven't seen these watches you can see them here
