Re: Does my C63 math add up?
That's an excellent philosophy, which completely dissolves my point, so your man-maths = real maths. Congratulations, you've passed the spousal interrogation mock exam.jkbarnes wrote: ↑Thu Aug 04, 2022 6:20 pmI’ve made a point of never using credit card points/rewards for necessities, only ever for fun & frivolous. If I need the rewards to cover any type of daily expense, then I need to re-examine my budget and spending habits. There is no opportunity cost here.welshlad wrote:Thu Aug 04, 2022 6:07 pm The real maths is of course that you will be an additional $625 out of pocket compared to the man-maths, if you would have otherwise used your credit card rewards points and Apple cash for something else that you still need to buy, as you'd now need to stump up cash for them instead.![]()

Re: Does my C63 math add up?
And for that $125 remainder, you get more points, right? How many Sealander purchases will it take to earn enough points for another C63?

Re: Does my C63 math add up?
Can someone refresh my memory on what the typical minimum amount is to use the voucher, in both GBP and USD?
Spend £xxx/get £100 off…
Spend $xxx/get $125 off…
Gotta work the numbers!

Re: Does my C63 math add up?
Firstly this all makes total sense to me, no brainer.

If it helps I bought my C63 Sealander using the voucher last autumn so I am sure it will qualify for the voucher.

USD is $125 off of anything $625 or greater.
