Does CW realize the bracelet/ strap price difference?
So Just got the email for the full black C600 COSC
Looking at the prices I see that the version on the bracelet comes in at GBP 1,650
The version on a strap is GBP 1,500
If one was to look at the bracelet sales options one would see that the cost of the bracelet is GBP 99 on its own
So someone could easily get the watch with a strap and bracelet for 51 GBP less than the cost of the watch on bracelet directly?
Does anyone else think that's weird? It personally gives me the feeling that CW are trying to pull one on unsuspecting buyers, or are too negligent to realize the obvious pricing mistake.
Anyways, hopefully someone out there realizes this and benefits from it!

Deleted owing to the fact my numeracy skills took a temporary nosedive
I am not a collector of watches. I used to be able to say that and know I was telling the truth.

Re: Does CW realize the bracelet/ strap price difference?
It looks like they were using the same percentages to come up with the pricing.
Im using the US $ for these examples...
C60 Pro 600 has a 10% cost difference between the bracelet and the rubber $915 vs $825
Trident COSC 600 also has a 10% cost difference $2,065 vs $2,275. The only difference is the cost is higher, so that 10% is a lot higher.
I am sure it is just an oversight in the pricing of the models

The prices are still off.Kip wrote:Thanks for pointing out the discrepancy. I have let the boss know.
If you buy on rubber (1,500) and then buy the bracelet (99) then you're still getting a discount from simply buying the bracelet version
Moreover, the alligator strap version and the bracelet version are priced the same, when in fact the price of the alligator strap is nearly double the price of the bracelet.

Prices have been corrected and letters sent to buyers who purchased at incorrect prices.
The incorrectly calculated prices were because the price of the Harrison bracelet was used in error.

Should the leather strap be cheaper as well? Seems like that one didn't change.

I did point this out when they were released:omegaaddict wrote: Does anyone else think that's weird? It personally gives me the feeling that CW are trying to pull one on unsuspecting buyers, or are too negligent to realize the obvious pricing mistake.

My conclusion at that time was it costs more to assemble a watch with a COSC movement
