As a quick update, I spoke to CW Customer Services this morning and they were happy to confirm as a Armed Forces veteran I was entitled to a discount, which they are applying to my order retrospectively, though they didn't pass comment on why CW couldn't be found on DDS.
So nice to have a positive experience with a customer services team.
