Oh, Matthew, they are ALL nice watches and you can't go wrong.

But at the risk of 'winding up' (ouch, bad pun) friends Fergal and James 80*, the first one should be the C60: the colour is super and it is in many ways the 'classic' CW watch.

* I am one of the few posters on here without a C60, and Ferg and James remind me. Often.

Welcome to the forum. I have the last in your list, the C70 whilst I currently have it on a leather strap I have tried stainless too ( see http://www.christopherwardforum.com/vie ... hp?t=12369 ) there is quite a bit of weight in a bracelet as all links are solid, so any of your choices can be made heavier by going for that option.

I've owned most of them. Some still with me some not. The three quartz models are lovely but don't have the indefinable charm of the automatics. So I'd suggest trying the c60 or the c65. Whatever you choose wear in good health and welcome to our world.

Welcome to the forum. I have a C60 and it is one of my favorites. It looks much better in person that any of the pics.

I have all of them except the C65 - they are all great watches.

Only comment I would make is that both the blue C60 and the Bluebird look better on the bracelet - makes the blue really stand out.

I'm a new owner of C65 on a bracelet ... not sure of weight but it feels so solid/heavy ... so well made.

C60 Trident in blue was my first CW and still looks stunning.
Of your other choices, taking the cost options up a little, the C7 IRR then the Bluebird get my vote

It looks like you're interested in the COSC version of the IRR, so this may, or may not be relevant...but my C7IRR on the leather straps weighs in at 89 grams.

I just got the C60 Blue for my son. It is a great looking watch. I almost did not give it to my son and kept it for myself. But I am working on getting the C60 with orange bezel as my next purchase.

Hi. I bought a regular C7 (with numbers rather than batons) on the off chance and love it. It's a solid piece and has somw weight to it.

Whichever you choose, enjoy it.

Good Morning and welcome to the mad house ,at the point of being publicly executed here i have never liked the c60 which is one of the forums favourites but i do like the look of the c65 far more refined. that being said don't stray from your own choice and have fun with the one that you buy.

I have some of the watches you are looking at but most of them are on a bracelet, I've just weighed them using some kitchen scales but I'm not sure of the accuracy. The CW website indicates the C60 weighs 189g but my scales say it's 24g lighter! :?

C7 Bluebird (bracelet) 140g
C60 Trident Pro (bracelet) 165g
C65 Trident Classic (bracelet) 160g
C70 British Racing Green (leather strap) 90g - Not the VW4 in your picture but is probably a similar weight.

All of them are lovely watches and I'd recommend browsing the Gallery for real world pictures to help you with your decision.
- Mark.

Have any links have been removed from your bracelet? That may account for the weight difference...
