Well since it's back from repair.... Deserves a photo - even if it is taken nowhere more exciting than my hotel room...

Think I'll put it on the bracelet at the weekend.

they were fantastic golfjunky, highlight for me was a scorching "White Limo"
and an amazing AC/DC cover "Let There Be Rock".

A one hour set of the FF is currently available on BBC iPlayer from last weekend's RadioOne Big Weekend at Norwich.

Worth watching to avoid withdrawal symptoms.

I had a nice chat about watches with him, he admitted he doesn't wear a watch currently but is on the outlook for one so he's checking out the CWL site later :)

the newbie on a C8 strap, much better suited than the original orange strap...

Image

I must say, when I unboxed this newcomer I was a bit underwhelmed. It appeared much larger than I was expecting, the orangish strap was a bit 'in yer face', and it was only then I noticed there were no minute markers (duh!). But by the end of the first evening on-the-wrist, I was really enjoying it...even the original strap was growing on me! If it was matte or even a bit distressed I might have stuck with it, but as is with its high gloss I thought it made the watch appear more of a 'fashion' piece which to me was a detractor. I think the C8 strap fits it far better and the legibility of the dial and the clarity of the crystal are stellar! I think we're bonding :D

Very much agree

I wondered how long it would take you to try the C8 strap (available in black at a 'sale' price of £30 if you're interested - http://www.christopherward.co.uk/c8sxk.html).

^^^ interested and purchased!
Thx for the heads up Guy, I was looking for that strap just last week. It doesn't show up in the regular strap listings...
and agree with other forumites, their website is becoming a pain to navigate :?

Glad to have been of help.

I found it myself only a few days ago by putting 'C8 strap' in the search box.

It's amazing what you can find with a little imagination.
