Keep trying, because assuming they are British owned, I can only think of one.

Owned by: Private

Based: Bristol

Current models: Fighter, Blenheim 3, Blenheim 3S, Blenheim 3G, Blenheim Speedster

Famous for: Claim to be the only remaining British luxury car-maker.

History: Bristol models use a number of donor cars and engines, most notably from Chrysler and BMW to produce cars that aren't so much retro as simply old-looking. Bristol owners are strongly loyal to the brand.

Future:Likely to continue making its luxury cars while there's a customer base, however small. New models are few and far between, but the knowledge that it's there produces a warm and fuzzy feeling.
Nope, USA built Chrysler engines, Bristol badged.........

At least the sigma engine used in the Caterham might be a Ford but they are made in Bridgend..........
You will struggle to find a true British Car as they are all small volume producers and don't have the money to make their own power plants.........in the same way as a good number of the bigger makes share car platforms.

Yes, but BMW & Chrysler engines.......
Closest I think you can get would be Caterham but even they have Ford engines that although made in Britain are from an American originator.

I'm sorry too as it's me who kicked it off topic in the first place, although we are hunting for a suitable vehicle for Nicholas to display him CW artwork on!
