Re: CWL of the day
I share your dislike of sub-dials eating into numbers, but you know I could quite easily put that dislike to one side for a Tyhpoon. I love these, one day maybe.Andyshall wrote:I got mine in the sale but I was not allowed it until my birthday on Thursday, I've had it on since.
I have been looking for a black watch and a two sub chrono for a long time, so two boxes ticked in one go there. I am not into the aviation side of things personally and I get the criticisms about no running seconds and dials eating into numbers but I think this is so impressive. It wears a little smaller than you might think, the case feels and looks so good and I love the dial. Even the strap is superb - excellent FVM.

Wow a C600 with the Chr.Ward no London logo! How rare is that? Looks good.

Thanks, I actually prefer the logo sans London on the C600, it just seems to work perfect for the dial(there's enough text already). There were a few new logo C5's without the London too(I think they're generally classed as Hybrid Logo), but they always look a little odd to me.Konketsu wrote:Wow a C600 with the Chr.Ward no London logo! Was quite pleased with that pic as it's difficult to capture the sunburst of the black dial. With the yellow and blue it shows well, it's less noticeable on the black but it is there
